
I was born and raised in Toronto, but I’ve lived mostly outside of it for the past 11 years. It’s a rare occasion that I get to be there in summer with a fair amount of free time. Usually I fly in for a wedding and immediately turn around afterwards, but this June I was able to spend three weeks in the city that I grew up in, exploring it like a tourist. It was a gift to be able to explore parts of the city that I never knew as a kid and, to see how much things have changed and evolved in my own neighborhood. Much to the chagrin of my fellow explorers, I became fixated on getting a perfect picture of the CN Tower and hunted all over the city for it. Thanks to their patience, I now have thousands of CN tower photos. I MAY have gone just slightly overboard. Some shots from the adventures are below. It's basically landmarks, lake-views and cats.
